Rescue a Lagotto Romagnolo

Vinny and Lilly are eight-year-old siblings, one male (neutered) and one (spayed), who must stay. Until a few months ago, they enjoyed a wonderful life on the beach in North Carolina. Sadly, their owner passed away suddenly on Thanksgiving 2024. They are now seeking a forever home. Fortunately, they are currently in a loving foster. They are located in Wilmington, NC, but are willing to relocate for a great family.

As there is no longer a formal non-profit Lagotto rescue organization I can support, we collaborate with various breeders and individuals across the US interested in assisting any Lagotto that needs to be rehomed.
We never know when a Lagotto Romagnolo will need a forever home. Sometimes, we take in multiple dogs a month, and other times, none. Completing our adoption form is the best way to be considered for a rescue.
If you have a Lagotto Romagnolo that needs rehoming, we are here to help and will take them in with open arms.

We regularly rescue and rehome Lagotti from situations where they haven’t been adequately cared for. We are deeply committed to the well-being of this incredible breed and strive to give every dog the love and protection they deserve​

After Adoption
If you choose to adopt one of our rescues, you will be asked to sign a commitment agreement:

Full Responsibility: I agree to be fully responsible—physically, emotionally, financially, and socially—for this dog throughout its lifetime.

Rehoming: I will never sell, give away, rehome, or breed this dog. If, for any reason, I am unable to care for this dog, I will return them at my own expense.

Spay/Neuter Agreement: If this dog is not spayed or neutered at the time of adoption, I will ensure the procedure is done and provide Premier Truffles with a certificate of completion.
